The End
What are your strongest concerns for the earth?
Which do you think will have the most influence in your lifetime? The next generation's lifetime? The next ten years? The coming year? Do you think that humans will some day be extinct--leaving another species, or microscopic organisms? If the universe continues to expand, what does that mean for life on earth? What scientific reports have you heard about our future? Do you think these are inevitable? Religions often have conclusions for human life on earth. List some not mentioned below, check which ones come closest to your beliefs.
Separating your practical fears and knowledge from your religious convictions for a moment, what do you believe might happen to the earth? |

What are some Biblical descriptions of the end times?
|
God of the universe, the future seems frightening. Help me see what part You have in it, what part I have in it. Throughout the Bible You reassure us to rest in You, lean on You, depend on You for answers and strength. Help me apply this to my concerns about the future. Show me if there are ways that I can contribute to a better future for our earth. Help me live with goodness in mind. Give others insights about how to survive, how to manage populations, how to provide food and shelter. Give us ideas to sustain a better life for everyone. |
