God, healings seem so random that it's easier to walk away from the idea than to find out what really causes them. I trust that you care for me, and that historical records document many, many spontaneous restorations. I give you my anxieties. I give you my resistance. Bring me closer to understanding your ways and your care for all people. You have said that faith can bring things to happen. Bring my tiny bit of faith into something functional and purposeful. Thank you for the ways you have protected me and allowed healing in the past. Start working in the depths of my body to restore health and bring processes to work how you intended. Help me comprehend your love.
